From Guarino Vineyard up in Calistoga comes this intense, dusty, full-bodied Petite Sirah. Veteran winemaker Julie Johnson rates this her best Petite Sirah yet, and with good reason. It’s full of ripe, jammy black fruit aromas on the nose as well some dried fig and prunes which are well balanced by a tannic, dry palate. A mouth-filling wine that calls out for some steak.
