This Classico wine is a Ripasso of Amarone calibre from one of most revered and traditional producers in the Veneto. Dark cherry nose with currants, dried figs, dates, liquorice and Christmas pudding characters. There are additional aromas of cedar, spice and balsamic notes. The palate is concentrated and well-integrated with intense wild cherry fruit balanced by fresh acidity and a long spicy finish. Get together and drink by an open fire with a selection of good, hard mature cheeses or enjoy with home-made tortellini in a rich, cream sauce.
