In a few vintages, l'Esquerda has forged a path for itself in Michel Chapoutier's Bila-Haut range, but also among the great wines of Languedoc-Roussillon. With each release, Robert Parker falls under the spell of this wine that is at once distinguished, fruity, spicy and even mineral, and might even be confused with a wine of the northern Rhône. This one is incredible and has bagged an exceptional score of 91-93/100. It is a fait accompli: l'Esquerda has established itself as one of the best values of Roussillon and as a reference to follow very, very closely! Beware - this vintage may turn out to be highly sought-after!
