Chronic Cellars has launched Sir Real Cabernet Sauvignon 2017. Sourced from the Paso Robles AVA, this Cabernet Sauvignon is meant to express the character of the region. “Paso Robles and Cabernet Sauvignon are synonymous; it is one of the varieties that put our region on the world wine map,” explains Chronic Cellars Co-Founder and Winemaker Josh Beckett. “Sir Real brings Chronic Cellars’ irreverence to this noble variety, and we couldn’t be happier with the result,”
This cabernet sauvignon exhibits layers of black cherry, mocha and fresh savory notes, the company reports. It has a core of dark fruit and balanced tannins that drives through to the finish. The blend is 94% cabernet sauvignon, 6% petite sirah.
