The Carpineto family created the name Dogajolo, a derivative rom the Italian word doga, which means “stave†— the narrow strips of wood used to form oak barrels. made from 100% Sangiovese this Rosato shows vibrant rose aromas while on the palate, we get currants, Red Delicious apples and sour cherries. Fermented on the lees in stainless steel, it’s zippy with great freshness and acidity.
